Tim Kendall – About Me

Tim Kendall is a Toronto-based baseball scout who is certified by the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau and has previously worked with Major League Baseball teams.

Hailing from Canada’s east coast province of Newfoundland, Tim Kendall spent his childhood in the wrestling gym with aspirations of becoming a professional. In 2005, he attended the Memorial University of Newfoundland where he studied Psychology.

After spending many years perfecting his wrestling abilities and winning various titles and awards, Tim decided it was time to go pro in 2009. As an independent professional wrestler, he experienced success with number of local wrestling organizations, including Legend City Wrestling.

Tim also worked with Canadian National Wrestling Alliance, Western Canada’s premier professional wrestling promotions company based in Red Deer, Alberta. He then decided to relocate to British Columbia to further his career in Vancouver.

During his time on the west coast, Tim was a member of a number of professional wrestling associations, including Big West Wrestling, Pure Wrestling Association, Vancouver Island Pro Wrestling and All Star Wrestling.

A self-starter who is versed in marketing, public relations, and brand promotion, Tim has also worked as an independent graphic designer and social media marketer for a number of years. He has also briefly worked in the security sector in his home province of Newfoundland, as well as in Alberta.

Turning his attention to baseball, Tim Kendall began working as a baseball scout in 2015. He went on to earn his Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau certification, allowing him to scout professionally for a variety of teams and organizations, and in 2016, Tim Kendall assisted an MLB organization in preparation for the June amateur draft.

Tim is also an experienced baseball instructor and offers a unique focus on biomechanics and mental approach to the game.  His lifelong commitment to athleticism and sport makes him the ideal instructor, able to relate with both the players needs and coach’s demands. Tim’s experience on the wrestling mat has also taught him valuable lessons about sportsmanship that he is able to impart to his students and colleagues.
